Syria's President al-Sharaa spoke to Euronews during the Arab Media Summit, held in Dubai. In the interview, al-Sharaa acknowledged that an escalation of tension is "on the way", but stated that he hopes the situation "remains stable" in the region.
The Syrian leader acknowledged, however, that "no one can predict" what comes next, demonstrating uncertainty about the future. During his speech, al-Sharaa called for unity among Arab countries as a way to face current challenges.
The interview took place in the context of the summit dedicated to media in the Arab region, where issues of regional and international interest were discussed.
