Remo announced the dismissal of coach Léo Condé in the early hours of Tuesday, after the 2-1 defeat to Bahia at Fonte Nova Arena, in a Brasileirão match. The decision was made by mutual agreement between the parties during the return trip to Belém. With this, Léo Condé becomes the 17th coach to be dismissed in the championship this year.
Léo Condé was hired in March and leaves the position after 30 matches, with eight wins, seven draws and 15 defeats. Under his command, Remo currently sits in second-to-last place in the Brasileirão, five points behind Grêmio, the first team outside the relegation zone.
The recent streak of poor results was decisive for the coach's departure. The club suffered elimination to Santos in Copa do Brasil and went seven rounds without a win in the Brasileirão.
Remo stated through an official note that Léo Condé is no longer the coach of the azulina squad, thus ending the commander's tenure with the Pará club.
