The Iniciativa Liberal (IL) strongly criticized the Government, using the expression "wonderland" to describe what it considers to be a disconnected reading of reality by the executive.
Mariana Leitão, from the liberal party, was the voice of this criticism, stating that the way the Government reads the country's situation "doesn't pay the rent nor put food on the table", underscoring the gap between the governmental narrative and the concrete difficulties faced by citizens.
In her speech, Mariana Leitão called for governance with a long-term vision, defending that public policies should think "beyond the next term", meaning beyond immediate electoral cycles.
