European project debates in Madeira hydroelectric production more resistant to climate change

Representatives from different sectors linked to water, energy, environment and land management meet this Wednesday, September 16th, in Madeira, to discuss solutions that allow hydroelectric systems to become more resistant to the effects of climate change. The meeting takes place at 9:30am, at ARDITI – Regional Agency for the Development of Research, Technology and Innovation, at Madeira Tecnopolo. The event counts on the participation of diverse professional and scientific areas related to the topics under debate. The meeting falls within the framework of the European project 'HydroPulse – Hydropower for Par', which specifically aims to address the challenges that climate change represents for hydroelectric production. The article indicates that the main objective of the meeting is to find ways to make hydroelectric systems more resilient in the face of climate change.
