According to the latest Hiscox report, 92% of Portuguese companies that were victims of cyberattacks registered incidents linked to artificial intelligence vulnerabilities. This data reveals the strong exposure of Portuguese organizations to cyber threats associated with AI.
The report also indicates that the average of attacks related to new AI vulnerabilities increased significantly from 1.60 to 3.48 in a period of one year. This growth represents an approximate increase of 118% in incidents of this type.
The data demonstrates a growing trend of cybercriminals exploiting emerging vulnerabilities related to artificial intelligence technologies, placing Portuguese companies in a position of greater risk against this type of threats.
