Fesap warned that even if the minimum wage in the State rose to 1,030 euros, this value would continue to be insufficient. The union considers that this value would not be sufficient to meet the current needs of workers.
The general secretary of Fesap underlined that there is a minimum agreement between the parties until 2029. However, the initial expectation was that inflation would not accelerate as it ended up happening.
According to the official, the acceleration of inflation has particularly affected areas such as food and fuels, which aggravates the pressure on the incomes of workers with lower wages.
