Sergio Rodrigues (1927-2014), the designer responsible for putting Brazilian furniture on the map, is honored by CASACOR Rio in a celebration approaching his centenary, which will be commemorated in 2027. The show, which opens today and runs until November 8, occupies a new address: the Edifício Aliança da Bahia, in the Centro of Rio de Janeiro.
The pieces by the design master are displayed on the sixth floor of the building and dialogue with the theme "Mente e Coração," which guides this year's edition. The theme proposes a reflection on domestic spaces, memory, and the relationships with the city.
CASACOR Rio celebrates its 35th anniversary and is the oldest franchise of the CASACOR platform, a brand owned by Editora Globo. The event is considered the most complete platform for architecture, interior design, and landscaping in the Americas.
