The film "Viver é melhor que sonhar" (Living is better than dreaming), focused on the end of the life of singer Belchior, will have a release date expected for December. The production features the same directing team as the series "Alucinação" (Hallucination), which aired in August on Canal Brasil and also addressed the musician's life.
The feature film will star actors Luiz Carlos Vasconcelos and Isabela Garcia, who were already part of the main cast of the series. New names are also joining the project, such as actor Augusto Madeira.
The series "Alucinação" (Hallucination), directed by Eduardo Albergaria, presented in four episodes the trajectory of Belchior. Actor Caian Zattar played the musician in his youth, while Gero Camilo portrayed Frei Pacífico, a character from the Convento dos Capuchinhos in Ceará, a place the artist passed through during his life. The cast also includes names like Ana Luiza Rios, Claudio Jaborandy, Carlos Francisco, Tim Rescala, Tainá Medina, Vinícius Cafer, Lua Martins and Pedro Fasanaro.
