Megan Stalter appeared dressed as the Emmy statue itself at the 78th edition of the awards, held this Monday (14) in Los Angeles. The actress, known for her role as Kayla Schaeffer in the series "Hacks", covered her body with gold paint and wore an outfit that reproduced the trophy's main elements: wings and the golden sphere raised above the head. The result transformed her arrival into one of the most unusual moments of the night.
Megan Stalter was accompanied by Paul W. Downs, her co-star and collaborator on "Hacks". Together, the two had already placed bets on humorous appearances at other awards, always with creative and relaxed looks.
At the 2026 Emmy Awards, however, the joke reached a literal dimension. Instead of simply competing for the statue as one of the award nominees, Megan decided to appear as it herself, taking the joke to a new level of creativity on the red carpet of the ceremony.
