Rio de Janeiro's Civil Police arrested in flagrant four men suspected of being part of a criminal organization specialized in residential burglaries. The action took place this Monday (14), in the neighborhood of Higienópolis, in the city's North Zone. The group was intercepted while preparing to invade a residence in the area.
According to authorities, the operation was launched after intelligence information indicated that the four suspects intended to carry out a robbery in the neighborhood. Police located the vehicle used by the group and made the approach at the moment the suspects were preparing to disembark and begin the invasion.
During the search, officers seized a loaded revolver, a replica pistol, tools, and two cell phones containing robbery records. The four men were arrested in flagrant and taken to the police station, where they remain at the disposal of the Justice.
