Brazil and the United States will hold an in-person meeting to negotiate tariffs between September 30 and October 1. The encounter will take place in the United States, on the sidelines of a preparatory G20 meeting.
Minister of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC), Márcio Elias Rosa, will represent Brazil at the meeting. On the American side, the United States Trade Representative (USTR), Jamieson Greer, will be present. Minister Mauro Vieira also confirmed his participation in the meeting.
This will be the first in-person meeting between the two countries since the resumption of tariff negotiations. The information was confirmed by Minister Márcio Elias Rosa himself to the G1 news portal.
