Diesel rose this Monday more than expected, and some fuel stations are already charging 2.29 euros per liter. This increase exceeds initial market expectations.
Gasoline, on the other hand, registered a decrease, although less pronounced than expected by consumers.
There are no signs that fuel prices may drop in the coming weeks, which keeps pressure on drivers and companies that depend on road transport.
This increase comes in a context of instability in energy markets, which has directly affected the cost of living in Portugal.
