Ibersol posted a loss attributable to shareholders of about 40 thousand euros in the first half, in contrast to the profits of 1.6 million euros recorded in the first six months of 2025. The group thus saw its profitability trend reverse during a period marked by operational challenges.
In the same period, the company achieved a consolidated business volume of 260 million euros, representing growth of 5.4%. Restaurant sales grew 6%, driven by the inclusion of 10 KFC restaurants in Galicia, expansion over the past 12 months, and changes related to the end of the old Barcelona concession in May and the start of the new concession.
First-half EBITDA reached 59 million euros, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%. Ibersol ended the semester with 556 restaurants, six fewer than the 562 it had at the end of 2025. Total investment amounted to 12.7 million euros, of which 6.1 million euros were for new restaurants, 4.6 million euros for renovations in Portugal, Angola and Spain, and 1.9 million euros for other investments.
The company's net debt stood at 405.1 million euros, an increase of 237.8 million euros compared to the end of 2025. This growth is largely due to the new Barcelona airport lease contracts, which represent 226 million euros of the total lease liabilities of 466 million euros.
