The Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere published a weather forecast for September 15-18, 2026, covering the municipalities of Mafra, Ericeira, Sintra, Torres Vedras, Santa Cruz and Lisbon. The Lisbon district has no weather warnings issued for this period.
On Tuesday, September 15, the sky will be partly cloudy in Mafra, Ericeira, Sintra, Torres Vedras and Santa Cruz, while Lisbon will have mostly clear skies. From Wednesday, September 16, an improvement is expected with mostly clear skies in all localities until Friday, September 18.
Minimum temperatures will range between 14°C and 19°C, with Torres Vedras and Lisbon being the warmest localities, with maximums reaching 29°C to 30°C on Tuesday and Thursday in Lisbon. Mafra will have temperatures between 14°C and 25°C, while Santa Cruz will have the mildest values, ranging between 15°C and 23°C.
The wind will be moderate, blowing predominantly from the north in most localities, with the exception of Torres Vedras and Lisbon, where on Tuesday and Wednesday the wind will come from the northwest. There are no active weather warnings for the Lisbon district during this period.
