The University of Madeira (UMa) promotes on September 25th, between 3pm and 9:30pm, at Largo do Colégio, in Funchal, Macaronight 2026 – European Researchers' Night. The event is open to the public and free entry.
Macaronight is an initiative that aims to bring Science and Research closer to society, providing direct contact with researchers. This 2026 edition is part of the European Researchers' Night, a European-wide initiative that takes place in several countries on the continent.
The event takes place at Largo do Colégio, in the centre of Funchal, and will run during the afternoon and evening, from 3pm to 9:30pm, thus allowing the participation of different audiences throughout several hours. The University of Madeira is the entity responsible for organising this scientific event in the region.
