Families across the country continue to face difficulties finding school places for their children. The situation affects thousands of children who remain without an assigned place in schools, generating concern among parents and guardians.
According to data provided by Fenprof, in the municipality of Sintra alone there are 744 students without a school. In the capital, Lisbon, the number of children without an assigned place is around 550 students.
The National Federation of Teachers has been alerting to this problem, emphasizing that the real numbers may be even higher than those known. The lack of school places continues to be a reality that affects numerous families in different regions of the country.
