The schools in Ericeira and Malveira, in the municipality of Mafra, begin the new school year with 30 new classrooms available. Each school gained 15 classrooms, resulting from expansion works carried out during the period before the start of classes.
The total investment in these interventions was 5.5 million euros. The works allowed for expanding the capacity of the two schools to meet the growing needs of the municipality.
The new classrooms aim to reduce existing overcrowding in the Ericeira and Malveira schools. The intervention also aims to increase the school offer in the municipality of Mafra, ensuring better conditions for students and teachers.
