The school year started today in Alcanena for the majority of the 1,809 students in the municipality. The requalified secondary school was reopened, allowing secondary school students to return on the 21st without the need for classes in prefabricated modules. The requalification intervention cost 6.3 million euros.
The Education Councilor of Alcanena Town Hall, Clara Baptista, told the news agency that the start of the school year is proceeding normally. However, around five teachers are still in the recruitment process.
