President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and Senator Bolsonaro (PL) are tied as the most rejected presidential candidates by voters, according to the new round of the Quaest poll. The survey shows that 55% of respondents say they would not vote for either of the two presidential hopefuls under any circumstances.
Lula's rejection rose two percentage points compared to the previous poll, going from 53% to 55%. In the same period, the percentage of those who say they could vote for the PT candidate rose from 44% to 45%. Because he is known by all respondents, the president does not register a percentage of unfamiliarity.
Bolsonaro maintained the same 55% rejection recorded in the two previous rounds of the poll. However, his voting potential fluctuated from 40% to 43%. The percentage of respondents who said they do not know the senator fell from 5% to 2%.
The two leaders of the presidential race have rejection rates higher than those of other candidates. The poll was released on Monday.
