The fourth edition of the UFF Book Fair (Fluff) takes place from Monday (14) to Thursday (17) at the Gragoatá Campus, in Niterói, with free admission. The event features the participation of more than 30 university and commercial publishers, offering books with discounts of up to 50%, in addition to launches, conversation circles and debates. The booths are open daily from 9am to 7pm.
The opening of the event will feature the keynote lecture by writer and poet Marco Lucchesi, member of the Brazilian Academy of Letters (ABL) and president of the National Library Foundation, at 11am. On this occasion, Lucchesi will launch his book "Book, democracy and library," published by Eduff, the university's own publisher.
A former UFF student, where he studied History, Lucchesi will speak about democracy, reading and freedom during his participation in the fair. The event has established itself as a cultural landmark in the city of Niterói, bringing together authors, readers and publishing industry professionals around activities aimed at promoting books and literature.
