The parliamentary leader of Iniciativa Liberal (IL) today accused the PSD of "trying to buy Portuguese votes" and of promoting an "electoral raffle" through the IRS reduction. These statements were made within the scope of a political debate on fiscal measures.
The IL representative also stated that there is a "majority of cowards" preventing structural reforms in the country, criticizing the inability to carry out profound changes by the political forces.
IL, a Portuguese liberal party, positions itself as critical of the PSD's strategy regarding tax reduction policies, considering these measures populist and aimed essentially at electoral gains rather than sustainable reforms.
