The "VAIVÉM" pilot project has the participation of 29 young people, coming from the municipalities of São Miguel, in the Azores, and Cascais, in mainland Portugal. The initiative emerges as a response to the need to create professional and personal development opportunities for young people from these regions.
The main objective of the project is to provide learning experiences in a work context, allowing participants to acquire practical skills and knowledge directly applicable to the labor market. This approach aims to facilitate the transition of young people to the professional world.
In addition to work experiences, the "VAIVÉM" project also includes mobility programs, which allow young people to experience contexts different from their places of origin. This mobility component contributes to broadening horizons and promoting cultural exchange among participants.
The initiative represents an investment in the qualification of young people, seeking to address the employability and professional integration challenges that frequently affect this age group, both in the autonomous regions and in mainland Portugal.
