FC Porto held a training session at Olival on the team's day off, with four players working on recovery. João Costa, Zaidu, Froholdt and Pietuszewski were the players who showed up at the Olival facilities to continue their recovery process.
This extra training session comes before the classic between FC Porto and Benfica, scheduled for soon. The four players are recovering from injuries and are trying to become available for the match against their red-clad rivals.
João Costa and Zaidu have been regular absences from Sérgio Conceição's team, while Froholdt and Pietuszewski have also been sidelined from the pitch due to physical problems.
The work at Olival aims to accelerate the players' recovery so they can join the group in preparation for the important Lisbon derby.
