The city of Bucharest, Romania, was the stage for a solidarity initiative that broke a new Guinness record. For several hours, one of the main avenues of the Romanian capital was occupied by a table that extended for five kilometres, creating an impressive image of continuity.
Around 20 thousand people participated in this mega solidarity table, gathering along the entire length to support the cause. The initiative combined the attempt to establish a world record with a solidarity objective dedicated to children.
The event managed to achieve the Guinness record, marking a notable achievement both in terms of organization and popular mobilization. This five-kilometre table thus became the largest table in the world, according to the criteria established by the record book.
