The synthetic lawn in Sousel was identified as a location for the eventual landing of helicopters involved in medical emergency, rescue, and civil protection operations. The definition of this space was announced by the City Council of Sousel.
The choice of location results from work developed together between the Municipal Civil Protection Service and the Volunteer Firefighters of Sousel. This collaboration allowed the identification of adequate conditions to host emergency aerial operations.
The objective of this initiative is to provide an alternative landing point for helicopters that intervene in emergency situations, guaranteeing a faster and more effective response in cases that require rescue or civil protection in the municipality.
