ADN Madeira directed a request to the Regional Government of Madeira to clarify how the teacher needs in the region's schools are being met. The party requests that it be explained whether the priorities established in the teacher placement rules are being respected.
The party recalls that the education authority announced the hiring of 245 teachers to meet the needs of the schools. According to data provided by the government, 90.4% of teachers from the pedagogical zone staff remain at the same school where they were already teaching.
The regional executive also guaranteed that the needs presented by the educational establishments were fully met with the placements made. However, ADN highlights that recruitment reserves continue to be used, which according to the party raises questions about transparency and the correct application of the placement criteria.
