The Supreme Federal Court defined Monday (14th) as the final deadline for ministers Alexandre de Moraes and André Mendonça to respond about the Master case investigations to Court President Edson Fachin. The same deadline was established for Attorney General Paulo Gonet and Federal Police Director Andrei Rodrigues. The decision on whether the court will investigate the relationship between Minister Alexandre de Moraes and banker Daniel Vorcaro will be made on Tuesday (15th).
The dispute over full access to Daniel Vorcaro's phone data deepened the internal division in the Supreme Court. The banker's device was seized during Operation Compliance Zero. The conflict involves disagreements over who has the right to access the information obtained in the investigations.
On Sunday (13th), ministers Cristiano Zanin and Gilmar Mendes ordered the Federal Police to immediately deliver a complete copy of the banker's phone. The deadline was set until 11 PM on Sunday, based on the justification that there is no hierarchy among magistrates and that the evidence belongs to the collective body.
Gilmar Mendes reinforced that the material remains under the court's custody, emphasizing that decisions on the case must be made collectively and not by the individual initiative of a single minister.
