The Buenos Aires Marathon is the most popular 42 km event among Brazilians in South America. Brazilians have a history of participation in races around the world, and the Argentine capital ranks among the preferred destinations.
Of the 16,700 registered in the current edition of the marathon, approximately 35% are foreigners, totaling 5,789 participants from other countries.
Among foreigners, Brazilians represent 48%, which equals 2,769 runners from Brazil registered for the race.
