Bruna Parente, from Santa Marta de Portuzelo, was called up to represent Portugal at the European Beach Sprints Championship. The rower will compete in the CW1x event, where she recently achieved the national championship title, demonstrating the good form she brings to the European competition.
The Portuguese team will also have the participation of Allison Russo in the CM1x event and the duo Afonso Costa and Patrícia Batista in CMix2x, thus completing the Portuguese representation in the senior category of the championship.
In the junior category, Portugal will be represented by Rita Araújo, who competes in CJW1x, and by José Azevedo, who participates in CJM1x, expanding the Portuguese presence in all categories of the event.
