The decision now confirmed by the Constitutional Court declares that the structure that elected PAN's national bodies is "statutorily incompetent" to hold that election. This decision maintains the invalidation of the entire process for selecting the party's national leaders.
PAN thus finds itself without nationally legitimized bodies through a valid electoral process, which calls into question the representativeness of the current party leadership, led by Inês Sousa Real.
