The RJ1 news program will start on September 21 a special edition of the traditional Caravan, called "Caravan Elections," with the aim of reinforcing the program's electoral coverage. Presenter Mariana Gross will leave the studio to accompany reporter Alexandre Henderson on trips through the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro.
During the caravan, the duo will meet residents who face in their daily lives problems related to transportation, sanitation, education, employment, and health. These themes will be highlighted as central to the electoral debate and public policies aimed at the population of Rio de Janeiro state.
Mariana Gross stated that it was very special to return to the streets and relive her reporter days alongside Alexandre Henderson. She highlighted that the Caravan is already part of RJ1's history and that in this special edition she had the opportunity to travel through several cities in the state.
The presenter commented that she listened to voters up close, understood their concerns, and followed the challenges faced in daily life, describing the weeks of work as intense.
