Bayern Munich continue monitoring Florian Wirtz's situation at Liverpool. According to the English newspaper TEAMtalk, the German club maintains its admiration for the German national team midfielder and is closely following his adaptation to English football. The 23-year-old player arrived at Anfield in 2025 for 116 million pounds but has yet to meet the expectations set.
Bayern had previously shown interest in Wirtz before his transfer to Liverpool. However, the German side stayed out of the bidding due to the values involved, while the English club won the competition against Manchester City and made the German one of the biggest signings in its history.
In his first season in England, Wirtz did not meet expectations. In 33 Premier League matches, the midfielder scored five goals and provided three assists. In 2026/27, the German midfielder has yet to score and has only one assist in the first five games.
According to TEAMtalk, Bayern has not changed its assessment of the player and remains interested in signing him. The German club believes Wirtz can recover his best football in the Bundesliga.
