Spanish Enric Mas, rider of the Movistar team, confirmed victory in the 81st edition of the Tour of Spain cycling race. This victory represents the first Grand Tour title in the career of the Spanish cyclist, marking a historic moment in his sporting career.
The 21st stage, which was the final one of the competition, was won by Norway's Tobias Halland Johannessen, who rides for the Uno-X team. This final stage sealed the conclusion of the 2023 Vuelta.
Enric Mas managed to maintain the lead in the general classification throughout the 21 stages of the race, thus achieving his goal of winning a Grand Tour for the first time in his professional cycling career.
