Odemira City Hall is promoting another edition of the "Open Week," this time in the parishes of Longueira/Almograve and Vila Nova de Milfontes. The initiative began on Monday, the 14th, with the aim of promoting more participatory municipal management, strengthening proximity to the populations, and monitoring local dynamics.
Throughout the week, the program includes visits to businesses, institutions, schools and municipal facilities, as well as meetings with parish council executives, municipal directors, associations and other local agents. The municipality states that this initiative aims to promote dialogue with the populations and direct coordination with the parishes.
During these days, topics such as coordination between the municipality and the parish councils, the municipal budget for 2027, and investment and qualification projects for the territory will be addressed, particularly in areas such as health, education, mobility, green spaces and public facilities.
The program also includes a decentralized city council meeting, which will take place on Thursday, the 17th, at 9:30 AM, at the Casa do Povo in Vila Nova de Milfontes, in addition to several thematic meetings with the local population.
