The Portuguese non-governmental organization Oikos concluded the distribution of humanitarian aid to Luso-Venezuelans affected after the earthquakes that occurred in Venezuela. During this mission, which began on September 1st, Oikos managed to distribute almost 200 thousand euros in aid.
The beneficiaries of this humanitarian action received a total of 3,171 kits that contained educational material and family hygiene products. This distribution made it possible to support the Luso-Venezuelan families that were impacted by the earthquakes in Venezuela.
Oikos is a Portuguese NGO dedicated to cooperation and international development, having carried out this emergency mission to support the Portuguese community residing in the South American country. The support provided aimed to mitigate the effects of the earthquakes on the daily lives of these families.
