On this Sunday's "Na Mira" program, Margarida Davim addressed the various issues related to housing in Portugal. The presenter spoke about the growing difficulty that Portuguese people face in renting a home in the country.
According to the analysis done on the program, the average salary in Portugal allows renting only about 50 square meters of a home. This reality reflects the increasingly wide gap between the population's income and the cost of the real estate market.
The segment pointed out that housing prices in the country show no signs of stopping their upward trend, continuing to rise and making it increasingly difficult for citizens to access decent housing. This situation represents a significant challenge for many Portuguese people who are looking for an affordable housing solution.
