Electoral projections indicate that the left should win the elections in Sweden. Voting is underway and partial results are beginning to be released.
The former prime minister and leader of the Social Democratic Party, Magdalena Andersson, is in a favorable position to return to the position. She already led the Swedish government between 2021 and 2022, becoming the first woman to hold the position of prime minister in Sweden.
If the projections are confirmed, Andersson will return to lead the Nordic country. Her previous passage through government was marked by her historic status as the first woman to lead the Swedish executive.
