The critic from the Slow Comics account gained notoriety on social media for supporting lesser-known authors, making a habit of visiting convention booths that others did not. His visit to Dare's booth proved to be a decisive boost for the independent author's career.
The demand for Dare's works was so high that it was necessary to call the creator's brother to bring additional copies from his booth. All available copies ended up selling out, demonstrating the significant impact the critic's promotion had on the author's sales.
