The Federal Police revealed that Daniel Vorcaro and members of the group known as "A Turma" accessed confidential information from the case investigations through a police station in Juiz de Fora, in the Zona da Mata region of Minas Gerais. The report is part of the investigation of "Operation Compliance Zero," whose secrecy was lifted by Supreme Federal Court minister André Mendonça and subsequently disclosed by the g1 portal.
According to the Federal Police document, Vorcaro's group managed to improperly search the ePol system, which is exclusively for federal police officers, on September 15 of the previous year. The institution classified the case as serious and ordered an immediate audit of the Federal Police systems.
The audit revealed that the improper access originated precisely from the Federal Police Station in Juiz de Fora. The system intrusion was allegedly commanded by retired federal police officer Marilson Roseno da Silva, who was arrested in May of this year during one of the phases of "Operation Compliance Zero."
