Francesco Farioli reviewed Porto's 4-1 victory over Casa Pia in the sixth round of Liga Portugal Betclic. In a press conference, the Italian coach spoke about the next challenge, the Classic against Benfica.
Farioli admitted that the level of opponents has risen, noting that this was already expected due to the transfer market activity, the decisions they made, and in one case, the change of coach. The Italian considered them to be new teams with new energy.
The coach highlighted that what happened last season is in the past and that this year represents a new chapter for everyone. He emphasized that he will have a full week to prepare the team and host Benfica at the Dragão.
The preparation for the Classic begins immediately, with Farioli revealing that the technical team's work starts even on the return bus trip, the very next day after the match against Casa Pia.
