Gustavo Paulo Duarte, leader of the CCP (Confederation of Commerce and Services of Portugal), states that an agreement for the revision of labor law is "perfectly possible", indicating that all parties want this reform. The official noted that the previously rejected proposal is not the only possible avenue to achieve this goal.
Duarte acknowledges, however, the difficulties in the negotiation process, admitting that "we hit concrete walls when discussing sensitive, politicized and ideological things". The CCP leader suggests there are other paths to explore beyond the ideological debate that has dominated the discussions.
