The second edition of the Elvas Iluminada event took place on Saturday, September 12, in the Historic Centre of the city of Elvas, having brought together hundreds of participants.
The event, which started and ended at Praça da República, was organized by the youth association Arkus and consisted of a route through monuments and emblematic spaces of the city.
Along the route, which crossed historic and significant locations in Elvas, approximately 7000 candles were placed to illuminate and mark the path for participants.
This was the second edition of this initiative, which aimed to revitalize the city's historical heritage through a differentiating nighttime experience.
