The British trio Mumford & Sons performed on the Rock in Rio Sunset stage, closing the space on the second-to-last day of the festival. The band, composed of Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett and Ted Dwane, played their acoustic instruments forcefully, such as steel-string guitar and double bass.
The show started with the song "Run together", followed by the hit "Little lion man", which drove the loyal fans at the edge of the stage to delirium. Marcus Mumford tried to speak to the audience in Portuguese, saying they were back and presenting a new song called "Rubber band man".
Rain arrived during the third song, which scared part of the audience, but the most dedicated fans remained firm in front of the stage. The audience in general was sparse, and Mumford and his sons did not seem to mind.
The band's lineup featured many instruments, including wind and string instruments, such as the characteristic banjo. The review described the performance as "intimate" and praised the group's British folk.
