Justice Edson Fachin decided to take on the rapporteurship of the case involving Justice Alexandre de Moraes and businesswoman Ana Luíza Voncaro, removing the responsibility of the case from Justice Cristiano Zanin. The decision was announced by the president of the Supreme Court on Saturday night.
In addition to the Moraes-Vorcaro case, Fachin also removed from Justice André Mendonça processes related to the Master company and the INSS scandal, which had been under Zanin's responsibility.
The change in rapporteurship will be reflected in Tuesday's session, the 15th, which was set to analyze the alleged link between Alexandre de Moraes and the owner of the Master company.
With Fachin's decision, the processes that had been distributed between Zanin and Mendonça will be redistributed, altering the progress of these cases.
