In the first leg of the Brazilian Feminine Championship semifinal, Flamengo lost in a comeback to São Paulo 3-1, yesterday, at Luso-Brasileiro Stadium. All four goals in the match were scored in the second half. Flamengo opened the scoring with Mariana Fernandes at the 10th minute of the second half.
São Paulo, which had the best campaign in the first phase, took control of the game from the second half onward. The tricolor side equalized with Mylena Carioca at the 26th minute and turned the score around at the 39th minute with a long-range shot by Robinha. The third goal came in stoppage time.
The second leg will be next Saturday in Campinas. São Paulo will have the advantage of a draw or a one-goal loss. To advance to the final, Flamengo will need to win by three goals. If they win by two, the decision will go to a penalty shootout.
In the other semifinal, Corinthians faces Bahia. The first leg is scheduled for Tuesday at 9:30 PM in Salvador, and the second leg will be on the 21st at 9:30 PM in Itaquera.
