On the Sunset Stage, the night begins with João Gomes in partnership with the Brazilian Orchestra, followed by performances by Criolo, Dino, and Amaro, and Gilsons inviting Daniela Mercury and Olodum. The British folk band Mumford & Sons closes the Sunset lineup.
The newspaper O GLOBO publishes critics' notes for all the festival shows, both those held at the City of Rock and those followed by the editorial team via television. The article redirects to critiques of the first and second day's shows.
