The Government of the State of Rio will reevaluate the selection process of the entity responsible for a project of R$ 44.5 million to implement and modernize Lilás Rooms and Specialized Centers for Women's Care (Ceams). The decision was made after a technical report pointed out a possible deviation of purpose in the project.
The report recommended a more detailed analysis of the R$ 17 million planned for advisory and consultancy services. This value represents 38.2% of the total estimated cost of the partnership, linked to the "Before it Happens" program.
According to the document, the high percentage requires an assessment of the reasonableness, proportionality, and economy of the expense. The report also recommends that the compatibility of costs with the objectives and goals of the project be verified.
