The Pardal system, a tool used by the Regional Electoral Court of Piauí (TRE-PI) to receive complaints of electoral irregularities, registered 87 complaints in 16 municipalities across the state. The system allows citizens to submit complaints about possible electoral crimes anonymously.
The position of state deputy is the one that concentrates the majority of complaints, totaling 40 records. In second place are complaints related to mayoral candidates, with a significant number of records in the system.
The complaints cover different types of irregularities, including vote buying, misuse of public resources, and irregular electoral propaganda. The Pardal system is a tool for citizen participation that aims to deter illegal practices during the electoral period.
TRE-PI uses the data collected by the system to monitor and investigate the reported irregularities, taking appropriate measures in accordance with current electoral legislation.
