Casa da Cultura, an important cultural space in Teresina, awaits restoration and is expected to resume hosting interventions in 2027. The property was closed in 2021 after the contract between the City Hall of Teresina and the Archdiocese of Teresina, owner of the historic mansion, ended.
Since then, the space has remained without regular operation. The interruption of activities left a void in the city's cultural scene, which depended on the venue for exhibitions and events.
The expectation is that the restoration project will be resumed in the coming years, with new interventions forecast from 2027 onward. The historic mansion therefore awaits investments that will allow its recovery and reopening to the public.
