In an interview with the Pod Boa podcast, midfielder Arrascaeta clarified a recent controversy with striker Samuel Lino, both players at Flamengo. The disagreement occurred during a match against Mirassol, when Lino showed dissatisfaction on the field for not having received a pass from the Uruguayan. According to both players, the situation has already been resolved.
Arrascaeta explained that he spoke with Samuel Lino to calm things down. The Uruguayan revealed that he often thinks about plays even before receiving the ball, always trying to have passing options defined in advance. He justified that he didn't see Lino isolated in the play and thought it was better to pass to another teammate.
The Flamengo player stated that he always tries to think ahead during matches, which can cause him not to notice all situations around him. He reinforced that they have already talked inside the Training Center and that the atmosphere is calm between them.
After the match in Belém, valid for the 26th round of the Brasileirão, Lino also spoke about the case. The striker downplayed the controversy, stating that there is no problem at all, and recalled that sometimes the player is better positioned and with more desire to score the goal.
